Biography of
Marie GNAHORE
Born November 9, 1976 in Abobo-Gare (Ivory Coast) Mother of 2 children and grandmother
Accomplished athlete thanks to collaboration of more than 10 years with my mentor Mr. Alain JOUSSELIN, I had the opportunity to discover the most major world competitions like the world championship Japan (1999) and the Olympic Games Sydney (2000) under the banner of the Ivory Coast. Collaboration with Mr. Alain JOUSSELIN gave me another passion ; that of transmitting my knowledge and my skills… I am therefore sports coach, while continuing competition as a veteran. In sport, I have always found the mental and physical strength to overcome all the vicissitudes linked to different aspects of life. Sport is my secret garden, my refuge, my rampart… Thanks to sport, I was able to chase away negative thoughts from life, and bounce back when I was down lower. Only six months of intense work were enough to improve my performance at 60, 100, and 200 meters.
"Sport helped me shape my mindset to transform my life and make it a beautiful story, my story."
